** I understand a breeder cannot absolutely guarantee the health or size of any puppy they sell. However, the purchaser may have the above dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within a _(72)_ hour period, and if the dog is diagnosed as being a unhealthy pet in their opinion, and accompanied by signed letter stating all diagnosis, lab tests, radiographs etc. (this does not include injury (dropping or stepping on the puppy) the seller will replace the puppy. Or refund full payment as paid to the breeder by the purchaser. The prompt return of the dog, (and all papers given to purchaser at time of sale) must be accompanied by a written report from the veterinarian.
**Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona virus after 48 hours of sale. As these are such highly contagious diseases and they can be contracted immediately after leaving the breeder. If a minor condition exists (such as worm eggs, ear mites, etc). Return the puppy and it will be treated at no additional charge.
**At the time of sale, this puppy is considered to be **Pet Quality**. Tatum’s Treasures offers no guarantee that this puppy does not have disqualifying faults now or will not arise at a later date which would make this puppy unsuitable for the show ring or for breeding purposes.
** Breeder further guarantees this puppy for 12 months (from the date of birth) against life threatening congenital defects. If within that time a life threatening congenital defect is found, Breeder will replace this puppy with another of the same quality and sex. The replacement will be subject to availability. The puppy will be replaced; no moneys will be refunded. In the unlikely event of this puppy’s death in the first 12 months, due to a congenital defect, a statement from a veterinarian confirming such an event and cause is required before the breeder will take any action. If cause is unknown, a necropsy is required.
*****Under no circumstances is this puppy to be euthanized without Breeders knowledge and consent. ******Under no circumstances will the breeder be responsible for veterinary or medical bills incurred.
**Breeder will not be responsible for illness or health problems, which are diagnosed after this time period.
I understand that Tatum’s Treasures will not pay for any veterinarian’s fees whatsoever, and that any expenditure I might incur with the puppy I am purchasing today will be my sole responsibility.
I understand that Tatum's Treasures will mail this puppy’s American Kennel Club (A.K.C.) or Universal Kennel Club (U.K.C.)
papers to the buyer (if not available at time the puppy is ready to be picked up). Allow approximately three weeks.
Registration papers will be given at time of sale, if available. I understand no other guarantees are meant or implied.
***BUYERS OBLIGATIONS***
**The buyer agrees to care for this dog, as would a humane and conscientious dog owner.
**Proper veterinary care is given immediately, including but not limited to injuries, illness, annual checkups, keeping all immunizations current according to the American Veterinary Medical Association Guidelines and kept on heartworm preventative as per veterinarian instruction.
**Adequate housing for this dog within the buyers home and yard.
**Feed the dog a good quality pet food.... Instructions for feeding as given by the breeder.
** The breeder will accept the return of this dog at any time the purchaser declines to keep said dog. However, the breeder is not obligated to refund any or the entire purchase price except as stated in conditions above.
**Violations of the terms of this contract renders all guarantees stipulated in this contract to be null and void
** This contract is valid for the original purchaser that purchased the dog from Tatum’s Treasures. If the dog is transferred to another owner this contract is null and void, as the breeder has no way of knowing how the dog is cared for or to whom the puppy would be placed with.
***Breeder makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, under this contract except as stated above.
